I posted why was i only getting 400 miles on the first tank of gas and this tank got 490, on my new 2008 package 3 prius, with a total of 530 before fill up, maybe the car has been sitting for a while? anyway vary happy now.
You have a bladder system. There is no way to predict how much fuel will go in or how far you can travel on one bladder fill. Fuel economy is not related in any way to distanced traveled per fill on the GenII Prius.
Don't push it! You run the car dry and it can damage the gas tank bladder. That can coast $1,000 to replace.
