I have 1150 miles on my 2006. I filled up this morning. 235 miles, 4.6 gallons= 50.88 MPG- (By pen & pad). Computer said 51.1 MPG. I think I'm getting the hang of this. Much better than 19 MPG- Last car. BTW, This was ALL city driving averaging up to 5 MPH over the speed limit.
Good results, congrats. If the traffic is not oppressive, gliding at speeds below 42 mph will give you another serious bump in FE once the engine is warmed up. Keep up the good work !
