Ok, cool that you just ignored everyone's advice. If you happen to get a "random" inverter failure in a year or two, you'll know that it wasn't really random.
My mechanic checked the sensor and tole me the reading is -51 (fifty-one degrees below zero—not sure of the scale used here). He opined this may be a sensor problem. He also confirms that there is no turbulence in the reservoir when the car is in Ready mode. I shall update this as I find out more. My mechanic says that the pump is this really little thing over by the right-hand side headlamp.
