ABS Actuator Replacement - DIY Questions

Here's the thing;

Manufacturers and Master Technicians have tried to refurbish these highly complicated and design locked down master_cylinder/abs/regen/traction control/skid ecu/stroke_simulators without success. Most of them start out with a full understanding of how this brake by wire system functions.

If you came here and said I would like a low cost solution or I would like to understand the functions of this system, you might get some direction. As is, you seem to believe the school of hard knocks is the only way to learn.

 

You can't compare manufacturers and master techs to someone outside that trade because people bring different goals and talents to the table that affects the end solution(if there is one).

I simply want to try my hand at repairing it and if I can't come up with a repair then so be it. But you want to go into with a healthy dose of confidence, and of course with insights and warnings from others the challenges. It starts with the belief that you can handle challenges, succeses, and failures.

Its not a big deal. I might not even try to fix it any further.
