I got rear-ended yesterday. (The other driver was 18, had been licensed for two weeks and still had the paper temporary license from the Secretary of State.) Her right-front bumper clipped my left-rear bumper. I've been driving the car since; I'm taking it in to the body shop Monday. Since the accident, there has been a noticeable drop in MPG, from roughly 52-53 down to 46-47. This might be accident-related, but why and how?
