Advice on Buying an HDTV

    Now that the HDTV's are all 16:9 & 1080p...

    It's a great time to hook up a PC or laptop to your TV. I have since last summer, and it's a blast.

    Especially Flash games, when you can link directly to the .SWF file and full-screen it.

    Instead of buying an expensive HD cable recorder box from my Cable Co, I actually save over 100$ building a HTPC with an nVidia GTX 9800 video card (used from eBay) and the cheapest AMD motherboard & CPU I could find.
