Airbag recall

    I want to say from safety perspective, passenger side is still presumably hazardous or even lethal to driver in the event of explosive malfunction.

    Hate to be blunt but I try to be one of our safety specialists/commenters. Toyota per CR above seems to be handling well and I believe will disable your air bag if requested while you wait for the replacement parts. None of this is Prius-related so far.

    I agree with you Rob, totally...Tracy, I thought about that too, passenger airbag being hazardous to driver, on my Tundra, I have it turned off on dash with key.
