yeah, my father-in-law had a ski boat with a chevy 350. But I can't recall ever seeing a bass boat with an inboard engine. It's no biggie, it's a boat - there's usually a problem that rears it's head occasionally.
A general question: when you all report the mpg, is it by the car's readout? The reason I am asking is that mine is consistently 5% off; e.g. if the trip mpg is 60 mpg on the readout, it would be amount to 57 mpg in real life … obviously, this would only become apparent when you fuel up, but in my case this 5% difference has been a permanent feature since day one. So, to see what mile mpg's were on any trip, I just take what the screen says and deduct 5%.
