I have a new 2005 Package 8 with the JBL audio on order (9 speakers, etc. etc.). My buddy had the exact same car delivered this week. I spent some time in his car last night and was appalled at the sound of the audio system. Has anyone had any success at upgrading their 2005 package 8 audio? Any suggestions? Help!!!
No such animal. 2005 packages went from 1-6. Now the 2006 goes to 8, and the 2004 went to 9. Some have found great improvement by adding a subwoofer. Others went to more involved routes. The problem with JBL is that the preamp is part of the amp as a digital signal processing unit. Therefore, you can't just swap out the JBL amp.
