2008 Prius. When reverse selected, the multi function display flashes. No problem when the tailgate's lifted, or with any of the other display modes. I've wiggled the cables at the top of the tailgate where they enter the body, but with no effect - I can't make the fault appear when the tailgate's raised. Has anyone seen this or better still, does anyone know the solution? Thanks a lot
Does sound like a loose wire or connection. Maybe the next step would be to remove the tailgate trim and check the connection and wires back to the top of the tailgate.
