I have to disagree. They are a godsend on my Ram. I have a drainage ditch along my drive that I can't see very well live. Or in the mirrors. The backup camera shows it very well, and as I have to turn as I go past it, the moving guide lines are priceless.
Once we have flying cars, those curvy lines will indicate more than just left or right. Elevation/pitch/roll/yaw, etc. Except for the US market.
