I bought a prius back in February, it came with "upgraded speakers" which I soon found out to be BLOWN! Does anyone have any recommendations for replacements? I love bass and loud music so I cry everytime I step into my car.

What stereo do you have, standard, or JBL! You have to be careful to match the speaker impedance due to the crossover being built into the JBL Amp. If you can match the proper impedance you will be OK. If you are ripping it all out to start fresh, be aware the NAV Voice and the Bluetooth phone options are routed through the system!
I just repaired the original factory OEM JBL speakers. I didn't change anything. I started a new thread with the repair info.
