Are you saying the Prius amplifier will shut down if you try to siphon the signal for a speaker-input on another amp? Or am I reading it wrong (I'll hide behind English not being my first language again if I am...)? Just had the red warning triangle when the only thing I did was unclip the speaker-output on the headunit while it was not even turned ON, for a picture of the connector. Why would a car throw up faultcodes after unplugging some speakers??? Is this related to the above? I can hardly believe that caused the red triangle... which btw stayed there for 2 startups and over 60 miles The plug in question (white plug to the left with purple/green/grey wires, btw what's the dual grey wire that is not connected to anything?)
