Can we install a CB radio without voiding the warranty? I had a CB in my truck and like to have one in all my vehicles. This car being so much different electronically, I wasn't sure if I could have my person install a CB as normal or would it be a lot harder to do that we would risk messing something up and voiding the warranty?
It won't void your warranty, as long as you don't accidentally short something out while installing it. There is a slight chance that the CB could interfere with the ECUs when transmitting, or the ECUs/MGs/inverter causing noise on the CB. Simple solution if problems do occur: turn off the CB
