I am a new Prius 2007/ package #3 owner. I can not get my store bought CDs to display their disk and track titles on the display screen. What have I missed? Thanks for the guidance.
It's rare that a store-bought CD is encoded with CD-Text. Only one comes to mind for me (an Evanescence CD), and it was an "Enhanced CD" with PC content stored at the end. The easiest way to remedy that is to make a copy with a program that pulls the CD title info from the Internet, and encodes the data onto the copy. Nero is one such product. I prefer to keep copies in my car anyway in case they get stolen, damaged, etc. That, and I get the benefit of the CD text titles/track info.
