    Who are you talking about? None of us claimed Prius would save the world. We're just doing our part to reduce our impact on it.

    OK. So to recap. We have a Prius owner who has embarked on a crusade to save the world from Prius owners out to save the world.

    Dan, there is no one point solution.
    All each of us can do is contribute less to the problem.

    A Hummer driver driving 4 miles a day is greener than a Prius driver driving 50 miles a day.
    However, it does not follow that the Hummer is greener than the Prius, it means that the behavior is greener.
    To compare products, you need to compare their impact using the same behavior.
    To compare behaviors, you need to compare their impact using the same products.

    As for world population, that is completely different. It is very important, but does not have any affect on one persons individual impact unless you want to talk about how many kids they have?
