I just purchased a used 2005 Gen II without NAV, cd changer, or bluetooth. Just has the standard radio/cd and MFD display. Anyone have luck installing a device to play aux input audio/video on the OEM display? Anyone familiar with VAIS Technology devices? Specifically if any of their devices are compatible with the basic MFD system I have? I see that they will be releasing a device for android in the next few months.
Any luck with this? I have an NTSC backup camera I want to tap into my 2008 non-nav mfd. I've seen the lockpicks online, but they seem like a kinda pricey solution, IF all you have to do is know which socket pins on the back of the mfd to tap.
