Comprehensive Improvements in New RX 450h (Most likely in 2010 Prius)

    Yes, true, but what I meant was that if you do the maths, the motor of the gen 2 Prius, when combined with the engine, only produces 34hp, compared to a whole 60hp from this 3rd gen. That's a significant boost in power and without that explanation, I find that boost quite hard to believe without a new battery.

    Oh, I thought the 160 hp was for the RX. Should have realised that is too small.

    A PHEV Prius could be 160 HP, however. As that is a double battery setup in the test mules. The Production version would be a larger single battery, and could have twice the power.
