Pictures? This cat, if there is a cat, is so fast a camera will never catch her. If there was a cat, she'd be hiding in the back of a walk in closet right now behind some hanging clothes in her isolation room before meeting Fay, who definitely exists.
Okay, the cat is out of the bag. That's speaking figuratively. I would never put a cat in a bag. She's hiding under the bed in the guset room now. I knwo she's has been out from under the bed because, unlike my cat have I have excelent detective skills. From the cat paw prints in the litter box I've deduced that she's been out from under the bed. That and she skittered away from the door as I came down the hall. Fay, on the other hand, has no clue that there's anther cat in the house. She was asleep when I brought Mia in and even though she was waiting outside the door of the guest room after I left Mia in there she didn't notice the new cat. Fay is athletically and I guess perceptually challenged, getting by on her beauty and seductiveness.
Now that the cat is really out of the bag, and in my guestroom here's the story via FoIA. Mia is a Liliac Siamese given to me by my Vet. She told me not to tell anyone where I got her because she's a very expensive cat. I don't think she wants some people to know I got first dibs. All I've heard so far is that she was 'confiscated'. I'm betting a breeder had their cats taken away because my Vet had several Siamese in back. One isn't likely to make it. I thought she said Mia was born 2/8/2008 but she must have meant 2/8/2009 because she's tiny, definitely a kitten. She's hiding in the guest room now. When we were at the office she was rubbing against me and purring but she's stressed from the change right now. She still has her stictches in from her spay so maybe I'l hear more when I go back next week to get them out.
I hope your new family member is adorable and wonderful as most cats are, despite the unfortunate heritage of being 'very expensive'.
She wan't expensive for me. $75 for all her shots and spay. Fay cosy me over $400 in Vet bills but was free to aquire. I have over $4,000 worth of purebread cats wondering around here now but I'd never even considered getting a purebread or buying a cat. I'd also never consider selling a family member.
I wouldn't sell a cat, if I had a cat, but for $4,000 I'd have sold my step-mother. Actually, when she was alive I'd have paid you $4,000 to take her. So what's your vet going to say when she finds out that you've told about 40,000 people on Prius Chat where you got the valuable cat?
So, was the photo, that maybe wasn't a photo of the redacted cat, really a photo of Mia? If so, she is a beautiful kitten.
Do we need a step mother/mother in law thread? Take my mother in law ... please! I got a pair of shoes for my step mother ... bloody good swap!!
