It is crazy, but the mirror is out of stock worldwide. I hope the glue will hold for a while (the duct tape didn’t work).

I finally got to replace the mirror. Meanwhile, this rigid-bond multipurpose cement I bought from Dollar Tree held extremely well despite the razor-thin gluing surface. I waited for more than half an hour for the glue on both surfaces to become tacky and pressed the mirror in position for a couple of minutes afterwards.

The instructions in this video were very helpful. I will add:
    • Remove the negative cable from the 12-V battery before you start so that the car doesn’t throw codes when you disconnect the electrical connectors.
    • The clips are hard to disengage. There are about ten of them. You might want to start at the center bottom than the lower left.
    • You might want to buy a couple of extra clips in case you break some.
    • Gently rocking the panel while pulling it toward you as said in the video helps disengage the top clips.
    • If any clip comes off the panel and stays in the door, you will need a special tool to remove it. I used a valve-spring compressor. You can make your own tool. Otherwise, you will have to break it and replace it with a new one.
    • If the manual door-lock handle comes off its holder, make sure that it clicks in (making a sound) to its holder before putting the panel back.
    • Make sure that the electrical connectors don’t stay behind the panel before you put it back.
    • Don’t forget to press the weatherstrip clip into the mirror as explained in the video.
    • I didn’t have to remove the door light.
