DICE iPod kit- any warranty issues?

    I'm considering putting the DICE unit in my 06 Prius, but I am concerned that since it inputs into the MFD, that if there is a MFD malfunction that the warranty might be voided. Has anyone researched this?

    I don't think there is a problem here. After all, the built-in XM (and I guess the Sirius) plugs into the same port.

    BTW, it plugs into the radio, not the MFD.
