Do you change your oil every 5000 or 10000?

    that’s good, I mean, you wouldn’t see much oil burning since you’re changing oil frequently. I’m sure the Prius engine piston rings aren’t great, so everyone’s burning oil on their Prius :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    I believe it burns oil too, just not noticable/negligible. In winter, I can smell strong fuel smell from the dipstick but disappear in spring. I changed the oil on July and December. I do not really do strickly 5k miles, about 6k miles July to December and 4k miles from December to July.
    I probably will use VW Longlife 4 oil 0w-20, It is suitable for Diesel cars too, and probably can clean the piston ring a bit better. At least based on Lubrizol performance chart. VW is very brave claiming 30k miles/2y interval is possible with their oil standard. However, they also burn engine oil like Formula 1 car:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
