i agree with more studies being needed. i also believe in erring on the side of caution. what's the downside to not spending 8 hours a day with the phone to your ear?
i read the whole text and there are many flaws of the study (this is only a preliminary communication). the researchers suspected controls' shorter lifespan decreased rate of lesions. either the study was poorly controlled or low level RF radiation actually increased the lifespan. there is some evidence low level ionizing radiation can do it too. this could be easily species-specific, too. when my son did experiments on plants, some plants were affected and some were not.
That's It! I'm going back to the community party line, with the wired phone in my house! I can't imagine what might be happening if I carry a cell phone, a prius fob, and use a lap top all at the same time.
Party Lines.....HA.... Last time I used one was when I lived in Gold Creek, Nevada back in the 1970s. I imagine a few still survive in some isolated spots in the USA. Don't think many younger people would know what the term means, though.
