Dutch fellow tows Leaf with Tundra while lightly regenning to charge battery

    The tow charging is an alternative to loading the Leaf on a flatbed and carrying it to a charging station. Both are solutions, but the best one would be to not get stuck in the situation.

    Fear of running out of power is a big factor against battery-only vehicles. The more solutions to this problem, the less rational the fear becomes. I like the Leaf (two of my friends have them), but I'm afraid it would be 95% great and 5% hassle in my style of use. Until that 5% is solved, it just doesn't make sense for me.

    I can't how a 'slow tow' say 30-50 km/h (similar to controlled downhill rolling) would do any harm. Also, we are all learning at this point - so does Nissan.
