Hello! We just purchased a 2009 Prius brand new, with the Package 5 which has the Nav and backup camera. We got a deal we couldn't pass up as we replaced our Corolla with it. We needed a bigger vehicle and it was either this white Prius or a red Camry. Is it possible to install something to allow the DVD to play DVD videos? We have a little one and was hoping to be able to play DVDs for her in the car.
No. The DVD is only for the navigation computer. You can, however, install a third party device that will allow the output of an additional DVD player to display on the MFD. Keep in mind that this is generally illegal when the car is in motion. Tom
