I did try that, but I didn't find relief. Of course, many other people do, so it is really just an individual thing. It also could be that I just got used to it, but with the wedge I did feel immediate improvement. I still sometimes get a stiff lower back, but it is very rare. I drive 4K miles per month, and most of the time I really enjoy the Prius. It is the best car I've ever had. Thanks, Rich N.
Re: ECO Mode vs. Normal Mode vs. Power Mode I drive my 2010 exclusively in ECO mode, unless wanting that "easier" (i.e., not having to press the accelerator to the floor) full-throttle acceleration for on-ramps or blind spots, etc. I'm approaching 5,000 miles on the car now, and my overall MPG to this point is 53.5. I've noticed over the last 2-3 tanks, as the weather has warmed up, that my tank-specific mileage has risen to about 58-59 over the course of a 550-ish mile tank. I'm thrilled with this, and still think the car is great fun to drive. I do consciously drive it to maximize mileage most of the time, I admit. On longer highway trips I ignore this a little more, but have only done 2-3 of these. Mostly 50-mile r/t commutes at average "city" speeds most often between 30-45 mph.
