Doesn't the Toyota power train warranty (60K miles) cover towing to the nearest dealer? I think emergency road service on your insurance covers it also. But I'm not sure about travel in Canada, I'll need to check with my insurance company before I go up North. Edit: To answer my own question I just checked the warranty booklet and it says towing to the nearest Toyota dealer is covered. I pay $4.80 every 6 months for emergency road service on my insurance and I think they would cover towing if Toyota didn't.
