2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class PHEV To Get Wireless Charging

Jochen Strenkert, of Mercedes hybrid powertrains, has announced that the next-gen Mercedes S-Class PHEV will employ wireless charging.

Sternkert explained:

“We already have a working prototype . . . battery capacity is predicted to double every five years, so the next S-Class plug-in will also have an increased range.”
