Fender Bender shuts down Electrical system ???

    our 2005 Prius was side-swipped and now Electrical system is apparently locked due to safety feature ? Even though car was (otherwise) very drive-able we had to have it towed. Is there a way to reset this or do we next have to have it towed to Dealer ? Thanks in advance for any help.

    First, where are you located? There are some very good independent shops around the country. You can try disconnecting the 12v battery for a minute or so to reset the computers. This may get it going.
