Alright, I'll agree with you now. I simply misunderstood VSC and thought it was in control during more extreme situations.
i think VSC was invented to avoid those extreme situations. in fact, in most situations, if VSC is doing its job, you wont even know it or at worst maybe notice a split second of something. most people would completely freak out if they sensed that some other entity was controlling their car.
Not at all. While VSC does use the braking system in its operation, it is not using the system to slow or stop the car. It's using the braking system to prevent a skid, and may only be working on one or two wheels in most circumstances.
