Gallons of Fuel vs. Miles per Gallon

Very interesting. I am reading it over to see if ev/PHV have to include the NOx/SOx/particulates and so on from their plug-in power component. Sounds like answer is: no they don't have to report the electricity-derived other emissions, but EPA is proposing a web site so you can do the calcs for yourself. Looks like EPA is proposing to use the same MPGe value shown on the current Volt sticker, which is very misleading in my view. EPA was apparently asking for public comment. Too late? (is comment period over?) {Looks like comment Deadline was Nov 22, 2010 but some people are still commenting}
