I now have an '07 Prius. In the '05 I traded in, my mileage would vary by as much as 2-4 MPG on the screen reading on my 32 mile roundtrip trek to work. In this car, the mileage never varies by more than .1 MPG. Did they refine the indicator in those 2 years? Anyone else who has a newer one noticed this? I pretty much go the same trips as I did with my other, and I seem to get a bit less with this one (like 47 mpg instead of 50). Since I kept track of both since Day 1, I know it is not different in the breaking-in period. I still love my car, though!
I think you're the first one. Most people who traded in their old 04 or 05 for a new 06 or 07 experienced the opposite of waht you're experiencing. Most said their discrepancies expanded lol.
