    Oops Frohlicher not Miller. He sent the pdf really fast. That is typical :)

    We can directly convert atmospheric ppm to content (petagrams) multiply the former by 2 (I think it's 2.11 actually). We can't directly convert cumulative emission fluxes to ppm because of the biological sequestration thing.

    Watching the SpaceX launch attempt right now - they had some stuck valve reading but the chatter suggests that has been cleared. Now, don't y'all tune in because I'll lose the feed or something!

    A new estimate for East Siberian Arctic Shelf methane, 17 teragrams, so we can compare it with US industrial ## above.

    Arctic seafloor methane releases double previous estimates

    As I recall Shahkova has published all the highest rates in the recent literature. But somebody has to be most.

    Ebullition is the fancy shmansy way to say 'bubbling'. Apparently 'effervescence' wasn't good enough, maybe it sounds too cheerful? I do not know.
