If I were closer....I'd pay respects, and I don't suffer lines gladly. It's not that I think that I'm more important than the rest of the herd, it's just that I came from the manufacturer with a limited lifetime warranty. There are better things to do with dwindling hours I have left than to stand in line for something like food or a soon-to-be obsolete electronic device - even if they GAVE them away. Paying tribute to 41 would be worth a few of those hours.
....I told a family member who gets paid by dot.gov that it's one more reason to loathe federal workers.......
i made peace with it right after deciding not to take the postal exam. looking back, i probably would have gone postal by now
