As for Gavin - I respect his credentials - but I'm not sure how unbiased he is. He moderates realclimate and there is an absolutely gushing review of Inconvenient Truth there that lets Gore slide completely on the stretchers he spews in his movie (for example, 7 meter sea level rise and 10 C temp increase). Last I checked IPCC was calling for something like 1.8 - 5.2 degrees C and about a half meter sea level rise. The least Gavin could do is apply an equally critical eye to Gore's film. But I guess that wouldn't fit Gavin's agenda.

Add in a reduction of aerosols and we have a huge snap in a bad direction. You can see Peter Cox's explaination of this in a short preview of "Dimming The Sun".
