Your making it difficult to pick a fight. :boink: How will we ever make it to the Pub to settle our differences? Wildkow
Why don't we skip the fight and go stright to the pub? BTW, I had never heard of the miniature village before -- it was nice to learn something while I was going without sleep last night. OK, here is my offering.
That's why this game is so compelling. See you all in a week. I will be taking a leave of absense for 1 week as I go on the Prius vs Civic Diesel Shootout. So I haven't left the game, I will just be gone for a while.
That was just wrong. I knew the boats were different but I figured you pulled it from another satellite image. I guess I should have gone further north. What was the previous miniature?
Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine Florida I knew I knew exactly what it was when I saw it because it's so similar to Fort Independence in Boston. BTW, fort tours is a great site See my post from the wrong rotterdam flood gates for the next one. EDIT: added it to this post. Words to live by is the hint steve
Steve, do you men from post 2115? It might be easier for us if you could repost the picture. edit: That's better. Thank you. (side note to wildkow: You know GoogleEarth now includes 'Sky', don't you? Nobody said the images have to be from Earth, did they?)

Original Hint: Words to Live by New Hint: It's not a do-DEKA-hedron Also, Adding in a new pic that is a bit closer up. steve
My wife figured it out from the hint. The world's largest copy of the ten commandments ten commandments - Google Maps Need to call it a night. Fields open to the next person who wants to post an image.
Yes sir, Just on the outskirts of Murphy NC. Lots of stuff in that area. It also has one of the most famous dumpsters right in town. The dumpster outside the Save-A-Lot is where Eric Rudolph (of bombing the Olympics fame) was arrested while sifting through the trash. Yes I actually went to take a picture of the dumpster while I was there. (attached) Here's another one. Obviously it's a Dam, but it's a famous Dam that has a supporting role in a famous movie. steve
I believe the Dam in Force Ten Navarone was a model. However, you don't know how close you actually are steve
Yes. I remembered it was a model, but part of the film was done in Montenegro (former Yugoslavia) and there are a lot of dams on the Danube. I thought they may have trained near one of them to get some realism.
It's definitely not that movie. However, there is a "link" between Navarone and the Movie that this Dam stars in. steve
The most obvious link that I had already investigated was the director/actor in "The Dambusters." I didn't find a match with any of the 617th's primary, secondary, or mistaken tagets.
