Baldnobbers was a lazy clue sure to give up the answer with a google search....I was heading to bed. Later I thought I should've used something like: "Located near the place has-been performers go to continue their careers." I thought that a search for "wooded amusement parks" or something like that might have narrowed the search too...not sure there's any other park with that many trees and things. Silver Dollar City is only about 30 minutes south of my home. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bestmapman @ Oct 5 2007, 10:07 PM) </div> Well your image is interesting. Obviously it's a water park...but there is not a single car/bus anything there despite the fact that there's water in the rides...Wisconsin is famous for water parks...I'm at work (trauma coming in now), but if I get some time I'll start looking. --evan
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Oct 6 2007, 08:19 AM) </div> Clue #1 This is not in the US.
Yea, notices the pyramid....hold off on the clues for a while, I just got home and still need to have dinner, put kids to bed, etc. IOW I haven't had a chance to do any actually searching yet. It's not Aqua Caliente in Villa Corona, Jalisco, Mexico Nor is it Sunway Lagoon Water Theme Park in Kuala Lamper Maylasia. Not Hong Kong Disneyland
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Oct 6 2007, 05:38 PM) </div> There are a lot of amusement parks with pyramids .Its a popular theme. I havent had any luck Googling though.
It is not Aguadilla, Puerto Rico OK, there are HUNDREDS of amusement parks all over the globe - we're going to need more help to prevent this becoming an exercise in tedious trial and error. I checked two parks in Cairo (pyramid connection) - no dice. Is this a park we should know about because it was (or is) in the news? Is this a park with some uniqueness that sets it apart? Highest water slide? Most gallons in a pool? Heaviest chlorination? Largest number of underwater slot machines and 21 tables for snorkelers? MB
That pyramid is aztec looking (see the stairs and step-like construction)...I tried to use that to narrow the search but w/o luck.

Looks like it's if I can find it on Google maps...</span></span></span></span> Got it... <span style="font-family:Arial">Field's open, I'm at work.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Oct 7 2007, 11:16 AM) </div> When Evan posted Silver Dollar City, I thought Xetulul would be a challenging one to find. In 2004 I went to that park. One of the comments was there was no parking. Actually the large structure on the west side of the park is a 4 story parking garage. Why they would build such a structure with all the available space I have no idea.
