<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(airportkid @ Oct 24 2007, 11:03 PM) </div> Thanks....it was actually hard to find what I was looking for. I wanted the ring where the running of the bulls ends (the "end"), but it took forever to find that information on google. I finally found a map of the actual course for the run then had to search google earth until I found the ring where it ends and the bull fights ultimately happen. Yikes, imagine 3 or 4 sporting events going on simultaneously....not a parking spot to be had! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mojo @ Oct 25 2007, 12:44 AM) </div> I figured it out..but I don't know that it would have been easy for someone who didn't go to this place often. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mojo @ Oct 25 2007, 06:03 PM) </div> I'm going to suggest another rule here, that when you ID a picture you MUST provide something beyond the raw Googlemaps link, like at least where it is or what it is. Those inscrutable link references sit on the screen like a dumped t**d, if you'll excuse the unpleasant simile, but I find them annoying. If one is concerned about getting the ID posted as rapidly as possible to avoid getting beat by a competing player, by all means post the raw link initially, to stake your claim, so to speak, but then go back and edit the entry to give the rest of us some illumination. OK, I'm done carping. Meanwhile, back to deductions: if the picture's orientation is conventional with North at top dead center, those long shadows pointing dead north indicate someplace WELL north of the equator, as those are the shortest shadows of the day at that location, the noon shadows. Even if the picture were taken at Winter solstice (when shadows are the longest they get all year) they're still too long to be at anyplace south of I'd guess about 50 degrees latitude. The row housing looks very Londonish (coincidentally just above 50 degrees latitude), but that kind of housing is common in many places so it's not necessarily London. Beyond that I haven't any idea what else to go on, but I'll gaze at the shimmering pixels some more and perhaps spot the vital trace of hung laundry or odd chimney that'll ID the place instantly. MB
