Have Some Morimoto Elite HID Harness Installation Questions ?

Maybe the gaskets are too thin/loose?

 

years ago I had condensation (in a different car)/
I drilled with a 1/32 drill a hole in the top of the light bowl, so once the lights were on the humidity had a way out to evaporate/
worked for me, never had foggy headlights again/

 

Google squirrel finders... they are cutouts in the cutoff shields that allow light to shine above the cutoffs. Intended to illuminate overhead signs and upcoming road signs as you drive.

Here's a pic of what they look like close up against a garage door (with H9 halogen bulbs):



You can do a mod to block the squirrel finder cutouts. Then you won't have the extra glare emitted above the cutoffs. On coming traffic and people driving in front of you will appreciate it. (with 4300K HID):

 

Here's a thread on how to do the mod, and what is involved. I did it on our Prius and Camry. I have to admit that it wasn't very easy, especially since I did it without opening up the headlight assemblies. If I was willing to open up the housings, I would've gone the Morimoto H1 HID projector retrofit route. Everything was done through the bulb mounting holes:

Yep, not an easy mod. Have to take off bumper cover, and headlight housings.

 

I tried all the kits and bulbs in the past and gave up and then I spoke to a lighting expert online, Daneil Stern, who led me to buy the Philips Extreme Vision halogens h11. Same your time and money. These have the best range and look. $40.
