MFD, not Audio died. Started the car, it displayed the temperature, I put in reverse and turned around, when I turned forward again the display was blank. No display at all. At night, buttons are not illuminated on the head unit and buttons don't beep when I press them. Speech recognition button does nothing. Audio system still works although it's guess work to find stuff. Got any hints as to where to start? thanks
Combination Meter Removal Search the forum for head unit also. Forum member pEEf fixes them, searching for head unit brings up radio problems, but hunt up pEEF and see what he says.
I'm confused. Do I use that link to remove the MFD, or are you suggesting that the problem is in the "Combination Meter"? thanks
If your mdf is blank or sporadically blank, it's the head unit for which all I have bookmarked is-are the directions for removal, but forum member pEEf(whose directions those are) has been res-erecting them, so check his prior post's, pm him etc.
