I have a 2002 with GPS and the unit is saying "unable to read disc". I have purchased another dvd disc but still saying the same thing. The reader is trying to read because I hear it turning, but then I get the message. I read on another forum to try using a cd cleaner inserted in the ECU and I'm going to try that later today, but as I was going through some of the programs, I came across this. What does program load mean? (see pics) And if this reloads, which one should I choose? US-TAB Should I try this? Thanks in advance, ELO
Your images did not make it. If it were me I'd pull the drive and make sure the LED is clean. Being under the seat is not the cleanest place for a DVD drive.
