The part that I removed was stamped 47070-47050. The part that I bought and installed is the same part number. The dealer insisted that if the part marked on the box is 47070-47060, then, that is what I got. He said to ask any other Toyota dealer about that. I trusted his word. I did not contact another dealer.

You mean the part you bought and installed has the same number stamped on it (which is not necessarily the part number)?

So you have a thing whose part number is 47070-47060, and has a different number 47070-47050 stamped on it that isn't the part number. Toyota does stuff like that. (So did Ford, when I had one of those.)

As long as the dealer looked it up by VIN number, you're okay. I have put a 3rd gen booster pump into a Prius v and the brakes were way too sensitive. I can't blame you for being cautious with these part numbers. Look it up. On toyota.com yourself to double check it

I just replaced the brake pump and master cylinder. I viewed youtubes on bleeding brakes without Techstream. The first step is to put car in invalid mode. I cannot get car to go into that mode. I tried 3 times. I also have not heard the pump run. For a M/S and pump that is dry, must I use Techstream? The brake light is on, even with the parking brake off. Tomorrow I will open the bleed valve on the right rear to see what happens. The power will be on, but not in invalid mode.

Do you have parking brake set? That’s mandatory. Got me…

I just found that the 12 volt battry was very low. Weird things were happening with dashboard lights and cheap OBS2 tester. Charging now with slow charge (3 amps)

Yeah it’s good to have the car on a smart charger when doing stuff like this.

I believe there is a non-Techstream procedure for brake fluid replacement that involves invalid mode.

There are people, apparently including some YouTubers, who think brake fluid replacement and brake bleeding mean the same thing.

They don't. In a brake fluid replacement, there's no air in the system to start with, and if you do it right, you don't let any in. If you do it wrong and let air in, what you're doing is no longer a brake fluid replacement.

When air is present, brake bleeding is what's needed, for which no non-Techstream procedure is provided.

(Well, I say Techstream, but any scan tool with the ability to launch the brake bleed procedure is ok. There are third-party scan tools that can do it.)

Since I just replaced the master cylinder and the pump, there is air in the system. After my battery came up to 12.5 volts, I turned on the car, blocked the brake petal down and bled both rear brakes. I bled and replaced the brake fluid for rear brakes. I saw a youtube where Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics guy replaced the pump and M/C and used Techstream to bleed the brakes and "simulator". On some youtubes, the "simulator" is not bled. Since my simulator would be dry, is the process different than for just a brake bleed? In my case, will I need the Techstream to do the process right?
And, I am confused about the front brakes. One youtube said that the front brake petal must be pumped (old style) to bleed them. Another said that the pump will bleed them. I have ordered 32 bit Windows XP for the T/S.

Anybody who purports to show you a non-Techstream "brake bleed", even on YouTube, is misinforming you.

Techstream isn't the only option—there are third-party scan tools that can also do it—but one of those options is required to do it right.
