Hi Bino, Hmmm, I think I was right the first time ... that you should save about $4000 a year on gas alone (my math skills have declined with age and vary depending on the time of day lol). Here were my assumptions and calculations: 1. You drive 100 miles per day x 5 days a week x 50 weeks = 25,000 miles per year. 2. 25,000 miles divided by 25 mpg saved over your prior car = 1000 gallons of gas saved per year. 3. 1000 gallons of gas x $4 per gallon of premium gas that was used in your prior car = $4000 saved per year.
