Ah, OK. Now I see what you are saying. In your first post you left out the word "headlight." YEs, you are right in that the headlights affect the performance of the fog lights. That's why I use mine as driving lights rather then fog lights. THe beam pattern seemed more useful in that respect anyway. Anyhow, I'm happy with the results.
