Hijacking garage door opener power for dashcam

    Is there a guide somewhere explaining how I can hijack the mirror power to power a dashcam? I have 3 openers and I'd like to draw power from only one of them to power my dash cam. However I don't want to break the mirror when removing it, any advice?

    If this isn't possible, I'll likely run power to the fuse box.

    I don’t understand why wouldn’t you use the power to one of the map lights??
