As described by other posts, previous versions of Coastaletech's Lockpick bypass the 'I Agree' on navigation by simulating the manual override by entering the upper left/lower left 3 times on the MFD. As you can see on their video, you select lockpick and the MFD screen magically goes through this override sequence. However, this manual override sequence does not work on the 2007 Prius. Does anyone know how Coastaletech performs the override or if they simulate cutting the purple wire? Is there a manual override on the 2007, as with the earlier Prius's? As a second thought, couldn't a simple timer/switching circuit be used to open/close the purple wire, thus giving the results that the navigation unit thinks the car is not moving, though updating the consumpution display? It seems to me that such a circuit could be built for less than $5.00 in parts (capicator, resistor, transistor and a few bits of wire) and eliminate all the wiring and switches options discussed. Thoughts?
