How to Add Android Auto to Prime LTD

    Oh! That's an interesting approach. Probably why it runs much faster for you, since you aren't projecting the screen from your phone to the UX=999 over WiFi, which then projects it onto the car over USB.

    Quick update: it seems the gps is okay, but I had to use a longer usb cable to put the UX-999 closer up onto my dashboard for better line of sight. Now if I can just puzzle out the audio life will be grand...

    Any chance anyone has seen a way to use one of these devices or another method to add Android Auto to a 2017-19 Prius Prime Premium or Advanced?

    I decided to get a RAV4 Prime and Android Auto works on it flawlessly so I no longer need the Android dongle. Whew. Before I put the Android puck on eBay I thought I'd offer it up to anyone here. I paid ~$241.00 US for it so if anyone wants to toss me a couple hundred for it I'm sure I can ship it faster than the time it took me to get it from China!
