You set your timer so that it completes it's charge shortly before you drive off, it starts and stops charging all on it's own.
I have only 10,000 miles of all EV miles and about 6000 miles of HV. I do not notice any difference of lower capacity from when it was new. The computer regulates battery SOC you do not have to worry about it at all!
    Hope this helps! :)

Awesome! It's "winter" here and the car is reporting 16.4mi for a full charge. But I prefer blended drives due to a 90 mile RT commute (no office charging).

My actual estimated miles is still relatively high and about the same as last year at this time -- I'm at 12.9 miles.
However, I do notice that the actual number of kwh, as reported by the ChargePoint L2 charger has decreased. In the very first few months (summer) I would see 2.8 to 2.9, typically for a full charge...once 2.95. This past summer I would see only about 2.6 - 2.7 kwh for a full charge (this is driving EV only down to 0.1 or 0.0; not driving in HV and using another 2-3% or whatever amount it drops after that). The main thing is my measurement technique has been consistent.
