I picked up an HV battery in unknown condition a couple of days ago. I figured id take a chance on it and perhaps salvage some cells for future use or even try and recondition it. I took it apart to test the cells with a multimeter and Viking battery tester (following tips from a youtube video using similar test tools), I got the following:

Average static voltage of 7.70v (Cell 13 read 7.50v)
IR ranging from 5.47 mΩ - 6.46 mΩ
State of Health ranging from 69% - 72% ( same cell at 7.50v read 48%)

The battery tester found all cells were "GOOD-RECHARGE” even though 1 or 2 had lower voltages and higher resistance than the rest.

After that I decided to buy the balancing wiring loom that connects all the - and + in series to form a loop. I ensured none of my cells were shorted and hooked it all up and let it do its thing for 25 hours.

After the 24 hours passed, i removed the wires and rechecked the cells, and found them to be balanced.
27 cells measured 7.66v and 1 measured 7.65v (cell 13 that initially measured 7.5v). The SOH now ranged from 71% to 90% with cell 13 going up from 48% to 56%. The IR values ranged from 5.27 mΩ to 5.99 mΩ and cell 13 was 6.66 mΩ.

Any thoughts on the readings? I can post all the exact readings if needed for someone to help me fully interpret it as well.

    Thanks i advance
