I honestly haven't cracked it open in more than 2 years. But dang if I ever noticed that or heard anyone mention it. Wrong twice in one weekend...I need another vacation!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(adam1991 @ Apr 1 2007, 05:19 PM) </div> No cause it's a 2004 (I have a 2005) and it's a US manual.
Back to the OP topic: There is a 2004 TSB on battery maintenance and it says the HV battery should be charged every two months. I expect this was for cars on the lot and I doubt if any Prius has spent 60 days untouched on a dealer's lot. In any case here is the pdf (if it will upload): [attachmentid=7234] Last year, I left mine for 7 days where I know the HV battery indicator went to 7 bars (green) just before I parked it. I checked it right away after starting it and it was still at 7 green bars. However, the 12V may be more of a problem if not disconnected. If you don't want to worry about it, have a friend start it every 30 days and run it in Park until the HV battery shows at least 6 blue bars. - Tom
